Information you provide
Aftero processes account email and a salted password verifier, profile details, consent choices, story-room content, and the media you upload.
How information is used
Information is used for profiles, rooms, preferences, purchases and reports. The app stores mobile sessions in platform-protected storage. Apple or Google processes store payments.
Who can see shared content
Profiles, room activity and gifts are visible to signed-in members. Profile photos and room voice clips use public file links. Conversation text and images are stored on this device only and are not delivered to the other person. Earlier messages submitted using the legacy public service are not made private by this change.
Account and data requests
Account deletion disables the account in the app and soft-deletes owned business records, then clears local conversations on this device. The generic backend cannot revoke issued tokens or physically erase uploaded files; other devices, backups, reports and purchase records may retain data. Contact support@after.app about access and removal. Signing out clears the local session only.
Your choices
You may change your profile and language in the app, leave a story room, block another member, and report content. Story-room recording starts only after microphone permission and your action. Photo access is used when you choose an image. When you start a call, the camera provides your preview and the microphone provides an input level indicator; these inputs are not saved or transmitted. You can turn either input off, and both stop when you leave the call or put the app in the background. You can change device permissions in system settings.
Adults only
Aftero is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Please report accounts you believe belong to minors through the safety controls or contact safety@after.app.
